Role Overview
This position is for an Online Bidder who can identify opportunities on bidding marketplaces, prepare persuasive proposals, and support client acquisition efforts. The role involves engaging with international prospects, understanding requirements clearly, following up professionally, and nurturing long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Search for and evaluate suitable projects on online bidding platforms.
- Create clear, compelling proposals tailored to client needs and project scope.
- Handle lead generation and support new business acquisition activities.
- Communicate professionally with international clients across the project cycle.
- Understand project requirements, conduct follow-ups, and maintain ongoing client relationships.
- Manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-moving work environment.
- Work rotational shifts based on business needs.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams when required.
Required Skills and Profile
- Experience with bidding platforms such as Upwork, Guru, Freelancer, or similar marketplaces is strongly preferred.
- Good knowledge of lead generation, proposal writing, and client acquisition.
- Strong English communication skills, both spoken and written.
- Confidence in speaking with clients, clarifying requirements, and managing follow-ups.
- Negotiation ability and a proactive, outcome-focused mindset.
- Basic familiarity with IT services, web or mobile development, or digital solution projects is an advantage.
- Solid research, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and time management skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teams and handle multiple tasks at once.
