Role overview

Larsen & Toubro is hiring an O&M Incharge - Mechanical for its Jaipur, Rajasthan location. The position focuses on overseeing the operation and upkeep of mechanical systems and utility equipment, with an emphasis on reliability, compliance, and customer coordination.

Experience and qualification

Applicants should have either a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 4 to 13 years of experience, or a BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with 4 to 10 years of relevant experience.

Core work areas

• Handle operation and maintenance activities for mechanical equipment across site utilities.
• Work on high-capacity HSC pumps, vertical turbine pumps, compressors, blowers, valves, and pipeline networks.
• Carry out preventive, breakdown, and predictive maintenance to support uninterrupted operations.
• Improve equipment uptime and reduce failures through effective maintenance planning and execution.
• Support water and wastewater treatment plant audits, along with water/sewer line commissioning and O&M assignments.
• Use a computerized maintenance management system for tracking and control of maintenance work.
• Coordinate tender-related work and contribute to business development efforts where required.
• Manage customer relationships professionally and maintain effective communication.

Site, compliance, and coordination responsibilities

• Plan and execute monsoon-related precautionary activities.
• Implement EHS and quality documents, procedures, and site-level SOPs.
• Oversee subcontracts, vendor contracts, supply agreements, purchase orders, and amendments.
• Track performance against KPIs and ensure operational compliance.
