About CacheFly
CacheFly has spent more than 20 years building high-performance content delivery infrastructure that supports streaming, gaming, and digital experiences for customers worldwide. The company moves quickly, values customer impact, and operates with a lean team built on trust, ownership, and autonomy.
Role Overview
This part-time Marketing Manager position is designed for an experienced marketer who can help improve and scale CacheFly’s marketing operations. The role is expected to take about 20 hours each week, with scheduling flexibility and roughly four hours of overlap with Eastern Time business hours.
You will partner closely with the Head of Marketing while taking responsibility for a wide mix of marketing work, including campaigns, paid media, social channels, website updates, content creation, and future podcast-related content. The company is looking for someone who can work independently, identify priorities, and follow through without needing constant direction. Background in CDN and technology is especially valued.
Key Ownership Areas
- Plan, write, and launch integrated marketing campaigns from start to finish, including the copy and sequences.
- Set up, run, and improve paid advertising on Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and retargeting platforms, while managing spend and tracking results.
- Lead a conversion-oriented website refresh and continue owning updates to messaging, page structure, landing pages, and CRO improvements.
- Shape and execute a social media strategy that fits a B2B technology audience and focuses on the most effective channels.
- Research relevant conferences and industry events for CacheFly and support the company’s presence at them.
- Create and manage email sequences and nurture workflows independently.
- In the future, help transform webinars, conversations, or podcast episodes into social posts, email content, and campaign assets.
Requirements
The ideal candidate brings deep B2B technology marketing experience and has already owned marketing functions rather than only supporting them. You should be confident working on your own, comfortable balancing multiple priorities, and able to manage a part-time workload of around 20 hours per week with about four hours of overlap with EST.
- At least 6 years of professional marketing experience, with strong exposure to B2B technology companies.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and take full ownership of marketing responsibilities.
- Hands-on experience with paid media, including Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and retargeting.
- Excellent writing skills across campaign copy, email sequences, web content, and social content.
- Experience leading or strongly contributing to a website redesign and conversion rate optimization work.
- Comfort building a social presence for a technical B2B audience and selecting the right platforms.
- Experience working in a startup or lean-team setting where flexibility and multitasking are essential.
- Willingness to overlap with Eastern Time by about 4 hours.
- Comfort working part time at roughly 20 hours per week while managing priorities and deliverables autonomously.
- Experience in CDN, streaming, or related infrastructure technology is a strong advantage.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly pay in the range of $60 to $75.
- Remote-first work environment.
- All national holidays off.
- $3,000 annual work-from-home stipend, plus a monthly allowance for internet, phone, or coworking costs.
- 401(k) plan with a 4% Safe Harbor match that is fully vested from day one for U.S.-based employees.
- Medical, dental, vision, LTD/STD, and life insurance benefits, with most costs covered for U.S.-based employees.
- For team members outside the United States, equivalent value is included in total compensation and country-specific benefits are provided where applicable.
- Access to modern tools and resources to support success in the role.
- A people-first culture centered on performance, mutual respect, authenticity, and fair compensation.
