Role Overview

This entry-level Marketing Associate position is intended for someone who is enthusiastic about games and interested in building a lasting career in the gaming space. The scope of the role is broad, offering practical exposure to game marketing in areas such as brand promotion, social media, community work, live-service marketing, customer support, campaign coordination, and player messaging.

You will report to the Head of Product Marketing and collaborate with colleagues across publishing, product marketing, community, live operations, and development while supporting a portfolio of live-service titles.

The company is seeking someone who is inquisitive, structured, team-oriented, flexible, and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Help execute marketing campaigns and live-service initiatives across several games
• Assist with social media planning, scheduling, publishing, and audience engagement
• Support the development and coordination of promotional copy, creative assets, and campaign materials
• Contribute to player-facing communications such as blog posts, release notes, and announcements
• Assist with day-to-day community management on Discord and other social channels
• Track player sentiment, community feedback, and competitor activity
• Provide backup coverage and operational help for Community Managers when required
• Work with Product Marketing, User Acquisition, Customer Support, Live Ops, and Development teams
• Help manage customer support escalations and communicate player issues
• Support influencer, creator, and platform-related activities
• Maintain marketing calendars, trackers, reports, and campaign records
• Take part in QA and testing support for marketing moments and live events

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business, Media, or a related discipline
• Strong enthusiasm for video games and gaming culture
• Excellent written and spoken communication abilities
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail
• Ability to quickly learn new tools and workflows
• Working familiarity with major social platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, X, YouTube, Discord, and Reddit
• Comfort handling several priorities in a fast-paced setting
• A collaborative attitude and readiness to take on varied tasks

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous involvement in personal social channels, student projects, gaming communities, or internships is considered an advantage
• Experience producing social content or video content
• Exposure to Canva, Photoshop, Premiere, GenAI/LLM tools, or similar software
• Understanding of mobile games or live-service games
• Experience with Discord, Google Workspace, or project management tools
