About Alma Coffee
Alma Coffee manages the full coffee journey in-house, from sourcing beans at origin to roasting and serving them in its café. The brand works directly with farmers it knows, rather than through multiple intermediaries, and combines a physical café experience with a nationwide e-commerce business selling coffee and related products through Shopify, email, ads, and social channels.
This role sits at the intersection of the café and digital brand, helping create marketing that supports both in-store experiences and online growth. As a Marketing Assistant, you will partner closely with the Marketing Manager to produce content, support campaigns, engage the community, and share the story of the family farm in Honduras and the expanding café business.
What You Will Do
- Produce and refine short-form video for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
- Take photos and record video at cafés, events, and behind-the-scenes moments.
- Help plan social media content, publish posts, and interact with the online community.
- Draft blog articles, email marketing pieces, newsletters, and promotional copy.
- Support seasonal campaigns, events, and local brand activations.
- Assist with creative shoots and collaborate with vendors and designers on projects.
- Track social trends and contribute new campaign ideas to the team.
- Create content for Alma Coffee, Finca Terrerito, and any upcoming café locations.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is imaginative, highly organized, and able to work independently. You should be genuinely interested in social media, content production, and marketing, with the ability to create both visual and written materials. This position is suited to someone eager to learn, adaptable in a fast-moving environment, and comfortable acting quickly on trends while keeping the brand voice consistent.
Success Measures
- Develop content that reflects Alma Coffee’s identity and values.
- Deliver at least one original short-form video and one blog post every week.
- Keep social channels active and responsive.
- Help execute successful campaign launches, events, and café activations.
- Contribute creative ideas and stay current with emerging trends.
- Turn timely social trends into usable content within 24 to 48 hours.
