Role overview
As Key Account Manager for Woolworths New Zealand, you will play a central role in driving commercial results for L’Oréal’s cosmetic beauty portfolio within the Consumer Products Division. The role focuses on strengthening customer partnerships and ensuring the brands achieve strong visibility and performance in the New Zealand market.
Key responsibilities
- Create and deliver account plans that support growth, strengthen sales, and help achieve or surpass commercial targets.
- Lead the coordination of new product introductions, pricing, promotional activity, and category plans.
- Work as a strategic partner to clients by understanding their business priorities, challenges, and growth opportunities, then shaping tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with internal functions such as marketing, supply chain, and finance to ensure smooth delivery of customer initiatives.
- Support the development of a Key Account Executive by giving feedback, coaching through day-to-day work, and creating opportunities for learning.
- Oversee the financial performance of the account, including forecasting, trade spend optimisation, and promotional budget management to improve return on investment.
What we are looking for
- Solid background in key account management, preferably gained in the FMCG sector.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, with confidence in handling several stakeholders at once.
- Strong commercial judgement and financial understanding, including budget handling and performance analysis.
- Data-driven, analytical, and focused on delivering measurable outcomes.
