Java Full Stack Developer with GraphQL

About the role

We are looking for a full stack engineer to build and support enterprise-grade applications using modern Java and Angular technologies. The role involves working on scalable backend systems, responsive front-end experiences, GraphQL-based data access, and legacy modernization efforts in a hybrid work environment in Pune.

Key responsibilities

• Build backend services in Core Java and Java 21 that can handle high-volume enterprise workloads and provide dependable functionality for global users.
• Create responsive and accessible single-page applications using Angular, with a focus on practical usability and modern UI standards.
• Design and implement GraphQL schemas and resolvers that simplify client interactions and improve network efficiency.
• Modernize and support existing Java 8 components so they align with current standards for performance, compatibility, and maintainability.
• Work with product owners and business teams in a hybrid setup to convert requirements into clear technical designs and delivery plans.
• Produce clean, modular, well-tested code using object-oriented principles and established engineering practices.
• Develop and maintain unit and integration tests to protect critical application flows and reduce release regressions.
• Improve application performance by analyzing service behavior, tuning queries, and using resources efficiently.
• Follow secure coding practices and participate in code reviews to help reduce vulnerabilities and support enterprise security standards.
• Connect backend services with relational and document databases while maintaining data consistency and effective query design.
• Partner with DevOps and infrastructure teams to support CI/CD pipelines and smoother release execution.
• Prepare technical documentation, API notes, and operational runbooks to support onboarding, handovers, and long-term ownership.
• Assist with production incident analysis and root-cause investigations, then help implement fixes and preventive improvements.
