Inventory Coordinator

Overview

A globally recognised advanced manufacturing business is looking for a motivated and detail-focused Inventory Coordinator to join its high-performing Supply Chain team in Mt Wellington, Auckland. This is a full-time permanent role with a Monday to Friday schedule and an immediate start available.

The position suits someone who wants to build a career in inventory control, warehousing, logistics, or broader supply chain operations in a fast-moving and innovative environment. Role summary

In this role, you will help keep materials and components moving smoothly across the business. You will work closely with production, operations, and supply chain stakeholders to maintain accurate stock records and ensure the timely availability of materials needed to support business targets.

Responsibilities

• Accept, process, and record incoming goods accurately.
• Sort stock, complete receipting, and place items into storage.
• Keep ERP stock records accurate and up to date.
• Identify and resolve inventory variances and stock issues.
• Carry out daily cycle counts.
• Deliver components and production kits to internal teams as required.
• Maintain an organised warehouse layout and uphold 5S standards.
• Assist cross-functional teams in meeting operational timeframes.
• Follow all workplace health and safety rules and procedures.

Candidate profile

The ideal applicant will be dependable, driven, and interested in building a long-term career. You may bring experience from warehousing, stores, inventory control, logistics, manufacturing, or supply chain settings. A background or qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or a related area would be useful.

Strong attention to detail, good organisational habits, confidence with computer systems, and the ability to learn new software are important. You should also bring clear communication skills, a positive mindset, the ability to work well under pressure, and a willingness to do what it takes to support the team.
