Role overview

The Human Resources Generalist supports the Director of People Operations across day-to-day HR activities. This position provides employee support, helps run semi-monthly payroll, and contributes to recruiting efforts when needed. What you will do

  • Offer broad administrative support to the HR team, including maintaining personnel records and handling HR documentation.
  • Manage onboarding coordination such as scheduling sessions, completing I-9 documentation, partnering with facilitators, and leading the HR orientation.
  • Handle routine employee HR questions and route more complex matters to the Senior Human Resources Manager when appropriate.

  • Assist recruiting activities, including reviewing resumes and conducting initial screening conversations.
  • Take on other assigned responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in human resources or a closely related function.
  • Working knowledge of HR procedures, policies, and accepted best practices.
  • Experience with ADP and Lever is helpful, though not mandatory.
  • Strong written and spoken communication abilities.
  • Highly organized with a sharp eye for detail.
  • Ability to protect confidential information and use good judgment with sensitive matters.
