The House Hotel Jeddah is seeking a Housekeeping Manager to lead the housekeeping function at a contemporary city property on the Red Sea coast. The House Hotel Jeddah King Road is positioned as a modern urban retreat that blends coastal living with contemporary hospitality. The hotel features 129 thoughtfully designed rooms and a vibrant signature restaurant that serves as both a social meeting point and a dining destination.
Jeddah itself is one of Saudi Arabia’s most energetic cities, combining sea-facing living, cultural landmarks, and modern urban experiences. The city is well connected through King Abdulaziz International Airport, located around 20 km from the centre.
Role responsibilities
- Lead housekeeping activities for guest rooms, public areas, and facilities so they consistently reflect company and brand expectations.
- Hire, onboard, train, and supervise housekeeping team members while encouraging collaboration and ownership.
- Track daily cleaning plans, inspections, and periodic deep-cleaning work.
- Manage housekeeping budgets, stock levels, linen movement, and supply usage efficiently.
- Maintain strong standards for hygiene, health, and workplace safety across all housekeeping functions.
- Coordinate closely with Front Office, Maintenance, and Food & Beverage teams to support smooth operations and guest service delivery.
- Respond quickly and professionally to guest concerns and complaints, with a focus on service recovery and ongoing improvement.
- Create and refine SOPs, training content, and performance measures to improve productivity and consistency.
- Adopt improved tools, equipment, and environmentally conscious practices to strengthen efficiency.
- Use digital platforms to track room status, inventory, and operational performance.
- Suggest practical and creative ideas that raise service quality and guest satisfaction.
- Set an example through professional presentation, grooming, and customer-focused conduct.
- Ensure all work is aligned with hotel policies, safety requirements, and brand standards.
Experience and skills
- A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, or a closely related discipline.
- Between 4 and 6 years of housekeeping experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Solid understanding of housekeeping workflows, cleaning methods, and inventory management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, stay organised, and train staff effectively.
- Working knowledge of MS Office and housekeeping management software or systems.
- Ability to communicate fluently in both English and Arabic.
