What the Hardware Clerk does

This position supports the hardware department by providing fast, courteous service, keeping products available and organized, and handling customer purchases accurately. The work may also include restocking shelves, replenishing inventory, and maintaining merchandise presentation.

Core duties

Daily work can include assisting shoppers, processing transactions carefully, keeping the department well supplied, and helping customers solve product-related questions or concerns. The role calls for attention to detail, good judgment, and a positive attitude.

Schedule

Store hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm and Saturday through Sunday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Hours can change based on workload and assignment.

Pay

The hourly wage for this role is between USD $16.10 and USD $19.25, paid bi-weekly or through on-demand pay.
