Role Overview

The Guest Room Attendant is responsible for keeping guest rooms secure, clean, and ready for occupancy while meeting company and department standards.

Key Duties

• Clean the assigned set of guest rooms in line with company and departmental cleaning standards.
• Make beds and replace used linens with fresh bedding.
• Remove used towels and other bath linens, then restock the room with clean replacements.
• Dust furniture and other hard surfaces.
• Vacuum carpeted spaces.
• Clean bathroom fixtures and surfaces, including the sink, counters, tub or shower, and toilet.
• Refill guest-room amenities such as tissues, soap, and similar supplies.
• Keep the housekeeping cart stocked with all items needed to clean rooms.
• Record room status updates and complete the required department paperwork.
• Inform the housekeeping office about maintenance issues or repairs needed in guest rooms.
• Respond to guest requests promptly and efficiently.
