Role Overview
This position is for a Governance, Risk, and Compliance consultant working on security control validation, compliance reviews, and third-party risk activities. The role is based in Chennai or Bangalore and is suited to professionals with substantial experience in IT governance and cybersecurity assessment work.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess security framework alignment and test related controls against standards such as NIST, COBIT, and ISO 27001.
- Carry out SOX-related testing for IT controls.
- Support IT compliance audit activities.
- Perform vendor and third-party risk assessments.
- Help develop and maintain Information Security policies, standards, procedures, and process documentation.
- Review cybersecurity aspects of new and ongoing business initiatives.
- Evaluate third-party services and products by examining structured questionnaires and verifying supporting evidence for control effectiveness.
Location
Chennai or Bangalore.
Experience
The role calls for 6 to 15 years of experience.
