Role overview
Saltwater Signworks is a rapidly expanding signage business in a coastal location, focused on custom signs and eye-catching vehicle wraps. The company is looking for an experienced Graphic Designer who has worked specifically in sign shops or vehicle wrap design. This is a specialist position rather than an entry-level opportunity.
What you'll do
- Create design work for signs, vehicle wraps, decals, and large-format print projects from initial concept through final production.
- Develop 3D visual mockups, permit-related drawings, and day/night layouts when needed.
- Prepare artwork and production files using ONYX RIP software.
- Produce polished, print-ready graphics with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Juggle several assignments at once in a fast-paced, high-output setting while keeping accuracy high.
- Work closely with sales, production, and installation staff to meet deadlines and deliver strong client results.
- Communicate effectively with customers and coworkers to support a smooth service experience.
Experience and skills needed
- At least 2 years of experience in a sign shop or vehicle wrap design setting.
- Strong working knowledge of ONYX RIP software.
- Advanced ability in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Solid understanding of printing workflows, materials, and installation-related considerations.
- Strong organization and time-management skills.
- Positive team-oriented attitude with a strong commitment to quality.
