Role Overview
BerlinRosen, part of Orchestra, is hiring a Graphic Designer to support the BerlinRosen Campaigns team during the 2026 election cycle. This position calls for a designer with solid print and campaign design experience, plus a strong interest in political work. You’ll turn complex ideas into polished, persuasive creative assets for direct mail, canvassing materials, digital placements, social ads, and other campaign communications.
Duration
This is a temporary full-time role beginning in May 2026 and ending on October 23, 2026. The role duration is listed as immediate through October 23, 2026.
Location and Work Setup
The role is based in New York, NY, with a hybrid schedule of three days per week in the office. Candidates located anywhere in the United States may also be considered for remote work.

About the Campaigns Team
The Campaigns team is a Democratic political consulting and direct mail practice with a strong record of winning competitive races. Its internal creative studio supports branding, copywriting, design, and direct mail production, working closely with clients from early brainstorming through final execution. The team includes strategists, copywriters, branding specialists, and designers who collaborate to solve challenging creative problems.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with art directors and account team members across multiple campaigns to create and refine direct mail and other campaign deliverables.
- Work under demanding timelines for a wide range of political candidates.
- Incorporate feedback while protecting layout quality, brand consistency, and visual hierarchy.
- Contribute to developing visual concepts for mail pieces.
- Keep project files organized and up to date.
Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate brings 3 to 5 years of print design and art direction experience in an agency or similar setting. You should be comfortable using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. The role also calls for someone who is detail-focused, efficient, highly organized, collaborative, and capable of strong time management. Success in this job requires the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment, work independently and as part of a team, and stay adaptable when deadlines change. The position may require extended hours, including nights and weekends, during peak periods. The team is especially interested in applicants with editorial design background or prior political campaign design experience.
Compensation
The salary is $70,000 per year, prorated for the term of the assignment.
