What you will do

• Provide in-home care for children without being responsible for transportation.
• Keep cleaning limited to simple tidying related to activities or meals you supervise with the child.
• Support families with children from infancy through toddler age, with the greatest need for children under 2 years old.
• Use age-appropriate, hands-on activities to keep children engaged while maintaining safety and observing their developmental needs.
• Work with multiple families as needed, based on scheduling and staffing requirements.

Eligibility and schedule

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• Prior experience with children is required; both paid and unpaid experience are acceptable.
• Infant care experience is mandatory.
• You need reliable transportation and the ability to travel to different homes in the area.
• You must be available at least 3 weekdays each week for shifts lasting 6 to 8 hours, scheduled between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM.
• You should be dependable, communicative, responsive to the staffing supervisor, and bring a positive, welcoming attitude to each family.

Additional information

The role involves working with multiple families and staying ready for on-call assignments. Child transport is not part of the job, and no household duties are expected beyond routine cleanup connected to the child’s activities or meals.
