Role Summary

This is a short-term freelance contract for a UK-based remote contributor. The role focuses on converting complex briefs, technical products, enterprise platforms, and sales processes into learning and enablement materials that are easy to use and simple to understand.

You will work with subject matter that may include APIs, software platforms, and implementation workflows. Strong writing ability is essential, along with the discipline to verify technical details and maintain accuracy. AI tools are part of the workflow, but professional judgement and quality control remain fully your responsibility.

What You Will Create

The assignment may involve producing a range of content assets, such as slide decks, e-learning scripts, job aids, playbooks, video scripts, storyboards, infographics, technical onboarding guides, integration playbooks, and demo flows for technical products or platforms.

Core Work Areas

• Turn dense client briefs, products, and use cases into clear learning narratives and usable content structures.
• Ask focused questions that clarify the target audience, the context of use, the outcome required, tone constraints, and how success will be measured.
• Recommend the most effective content formats, such as scenario-based learning, decision trees, talk tracks, modular job aids, demos, or cheat sheets.
• Develop learning assets and enablement materials that are accurate, concise, and ready for direct use.
• Apply adult learning principles where appropriate, including relevance, practice, feedback, clarity, and reinforcement.
• Use AI to support outlining, drafting, iteration, summarisation, and versioning, while checking all output for correctness, tone, inclusion, and brand fit.
• Translate technical product information into customer-friendly content that supports sales conversations, adoption, and real-world use.
• Create believable scenarios and examples when needed, while avoiding unsupported claims or invented facts.
• Keep content aligned to brand voice, terminology, formatting, naming conventions, and messaging standards.
• Work with project contacts, learning partners, designers, and delivery teams to gather context and refine outputs.
• Raise risks, gaps, and unclear inputs early, and suggest practical solutions rather than only highlighting problems.
• Carry out detailed quality checks before submission, including factual accuracy, completeness, readability, consistency, formatting, and technical correctness.

Requirements

• Prior experience creating learning, training, or enablement content for enterprise or business-to-business audiences.
• Excellent writing and editing ability, with a strong sense of structure, clarity, tone, and narrative flow.
• Confidence in turning technical or product-heavy material into content that is simple to follow and genuinely usable.
• Hands-on experience producing content related to APIs, software products, platform integrations, or implementation processes.
• Ability to explain API fundamentals such as endpoints, authentication, request and response flows, data structures, integrations, and error handling.
• Strong discipline around technical accuracy, with the ability to simplify content without changing meaning or overstating claims.
• Comfort working in Google Workspace, especially Docs and Slides.
• Reliable collaboration habits, including clear communication, follow-through, and responsiveness to feedback.
• Confidence using AI tools professionally for drafting, refining, and accelerating content production.
• Experience with sales enablement, customer enablement, learning and development, e-learning scripts, or LMS content is advantageous.
• Background working with technical products, software, AI, or digital transformation initiatives would be a plus.
