At Hyatt Regency Chennai, this position is responsible for ensuring the smooth and effective functioning of the department while staying aligned with Hyatt International’s corporate direction and brand expectations. The role must also support the needs of employees, guests, and the property owner.

Key responsibilities

The Fire Officer will establish, execute, track, and review the hotel’s safety and security processes. This includes managing fire protection measures as well as safeguarding employees and company assets.

Qualifications

Candidates are ideally expected to hold a professional diploma or certificate in Safety and Security. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Fire Officer role within a larger operation is required. Strong practical ability, operational know-how, and well-developed relevant skills are essential.
