Role overview

This opportunity is open only to fresh graduates. The preferred academic background is MBA (Finance), M.Com, or M.Sc. The role is based in Gurugram and is focused on investment-banking style financial analysis and transaction support.

Key responsibilities

• Build financial models, perform valuation work, and support analysis for mergers, acquisitions, and fundraising transactions.
• Assist in creating pitch decks, investment briefs, and client-facing presentation materials.
• Review industry movements, company performance, and market information to spot investment possibilities.
• Work alongside senior bankers on transaction execution and relationship handling with clients.
• Carry out due diligence, assess risks, and examine financial documents carefully.
• Keep market, deal, and client records accurate, current, and well organized.
• Coordinate with internal departments such as research, legal, and compliance, as well as outside stakeholders, to keep deal processes moving smoothly.
• Track economic, financial, and geopolitical changes that may influence investment decisions.
• Draft updates on deal progress, risk exposure, and portfolio performance.
• Support strategic projects and new business development initiatives.

Candidate profile

• Only candidates with MBA in Finance, M.Com, or M.Sc qualifications are eligible; pass outs from 2022 to 2025 are preferred.
• A solid grasp of financial statements, corporate finance concepts, and valuation methods such as DCF, comparable company analysis, and precedent transactions is needed.
• Strong analytical ability and quantitative reasoning are important for this role.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modelling tools is required.
• Good written and spoken English, along with strong presentation skills, is expected.
• The role suits someone who can perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Applicants should be cooperative, reliable in team settings, and able to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
• A genuine interest in capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, equity research, and investment trends is preferred.
