Role Overview
This position sits within the Finance & Accounting function at Al Forsan International Sports Resort in Abu Dhabi. It is a full-time, non-management role focused on maintaining accurate financial records, supporting cash handling controls, and assisting with day-to-day accounting operations.
Key Duties
- Verify figures, entries, and supporting documents to ensure accuracy.
- Safeguard, organize, and update files, records, cash, and cash equivalents according to company policies.
- Enter, retrieve, store, and analyze computerized financial data as needed.
- Sort, code, and summarize financial and numerical information for journals, ledgers, and system records.
- Prepare, maintain, audit, and circulate financial, statistical, accounting, payroll, and audit reports and tables.
- Carry out period-end closing tasks and complete required closing reports.
- Draft, review, reconcile, and issue invoices, bills, and account statements in line with company procedures.
- Follow up on overdue accounts and vendor invoices until payment is completed or the matter is resolved.
- Prepare daily consolidated cash deposits collected by all employees handling cash.
- Track, maintain, report, and act on cash variances.
- Set up, maintain, and manage cashier banks and related contracts.
- Handle other reasonable tasks assigned by supervisors.

Preferred Background
