Role Overview
This is a temporary assignment for 9 months. The position sits within the Field Service team and focuses on delivering responsive, effective support to customers across Water, Power, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, and related industries.
Key Duties
You will be responsible for diagnosing issues, repairing, testing, and modifying actuators at customer sites. The role also includes planned and preventive maintenance, mechanical and electrical installation of actuators, and retrofit adaptation work involving components, pedestals, and drive shafts. You will also be expected to prepare clear and accurate technical site visit reports for every assignment.

Qualifications and Technical Knowledge
- A Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Relevant post-study experience in a hands-on engineering environment, ideally in a field-based position.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Willingness to complete required training, including but not limited to Confined Space, Working at Heights, and First Aid competency.
- Readiness to complete customer inductions, medical checks, and inoculations as required.
- Ability and willingness to undertake substantial travel, along with a valid full driver’s licence.
- Practical experience or sound understanding of valves, actuators, and digital control systems.
- Solid grasp of basic electronics, electrical principles, and fluid power concepts.
- Capability to interpret electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics and use standard testing and calibration equipment.
