What the role involves
As a Field Inspector, you will visit residential neighborhoods to identify homes that may qualify for a free roof inspection and arrange appointment times with homeowners. The work is done from the ground, with no roof climbing or direct selling required. You will educate homeowners about the inspection service and help connect them with the in-home inspection team.
The position is field-based and face-to-face, with an active, outdoors-oriented schedule. It is similar to customer-facing roles in retail, hospitality, customer service, and sales where confidence and communication matter.
Responsibilities
- Cover assigned residential neighborhoods on foot
- Speak directly with homeowners at their properties
- Complete simple visual checks from the ground
- Explain the free roof inspection service clearly
- Book inspection appointments for homeowners
- Remain active and work outdoors throughout the day
Backgrounds that fit well
People coming from retail, warehouse, bartending, restaurant service, reception, administrative support, hospitality, or customer service often do well in this role and can transition into a higher-earning path here.
Schedule and working conditions
- On-site position
- Availability required Monday through Saturday, between 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM
- 40 hours per week are expected within that schedule
- No overnight travel
- Team transportation is provided from the office
