Field Executive cum Chemist (Lab)

About the Role

Grass Roots Research & Creation is looking for a motivated and accuracy-driven Field Executive cum Chemist to handle both laboratory testing and sample collection work. This position combines field assignments with lab-based chemical analysis, quality adherence, and coordination with clients.

Role Overview

The selected candidate will support environmental sampling and laboratory operations from the Noida location, with field visits across PAN India and travel within Odisha as part of the assignment.

Field Responsibilities

• Visit client sites to collect samples such as water, soil, industrial samples, and similar materials.
• Handle sample identification, packing, and transfer in the correct manner.
• Maintain professional communication with clients and support relationship management during field visits.
• Travel to assigned locations in Odisha and other regions as required for fieldwork.

Laboratory Responsibilities

• Perform chemical testing using approved and standard procedures.
• Keep laboratory documentation, logs, and test reports up to date.
• Check, calibrate, and care for laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Follow safety practices and maintain required quality standards in the lab.

Requirements

• A background in B.Sc Environmental Science is required.
• Prior exposure to NABL-related work will be considered an advantage.
• Candidate should be comfortable with both lab work and field travel.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work with sample handling and documentation are important.
