Engineer/Senior Engineer (Unmanned Aircraft)

About the Role

Join DSTA as a driven Engineer or Senior Engineer focused on Unmanned Aircraft Systems. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, integrating, testing, and operationalizing cutting-edge technologies that significantly enhance national security capabilities. This role involves working with advanced military UAV systems, from micro to strategic classes, adaptable for Air Force, Army, and Navy missions. You will also contribute to developing customized UAV systems tailored to the Singapore Armed Forces' specific requirements and explore innovative drone deployment concepts.

Scope of Work

As part of a cross-disciplinary engineering team, you will collaborate with experienced mentors to deepen your expertise in Unmanned Aircraft. Your responsibilities will include:

• Creating, validating, and deploying transformative engineering solutions.
• Designing and integrating top-tier global systems to form unified capabilities, including seamless integration with Command and Control Systems for enhanced situational awareness and mission planning.
• Researching, assessing, and implementing novel technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence and Autonomy, for operational deployment.
• Guaranteeing that all developed products adhere to the most stringent standards for airworthiness, performance, safety, and reliability.
• Partnering with and co-developing technologies alongside leading organizations, corporations, and research institutions, both domestically and internationally.
