Engineer - Strategic Sourcing (Proprietary Items)

Role overview

This position focuses on sourcing proprietary and vendor-specific engineered components for an industrial setup in Rajkot. The scope includes items such as seats, steering systems, hydraulics, and similar assemblies supplied to detailed specifications.

Key responsibilities

The engineer will drive sourcing efforts for proprietary parts, carry out supplier benchmarking, work with technical drawings and bills of materials, manage RFQs, and support cost estimation and commercial analysis.

Candidate profile

The ideal applicant should hold a Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical Engineering and bring at least 3 years of experience in strategic sourcing, preferably with proprietary or engineered components. A solid understanding of cost models and supplier negotiation is expected.
