Education Consultant

Role Overview

This is a remote, part-time independent contractor opportunity focused on educational document analysis and evaluation work. The assignment centers on building benchmark tasks from learning materials, assessments, reports, and other instructional content, then using those tasks to assess how well a model understands documents and follows instructions.

The role offers flexible scheduling, with an expected commitment of 15 to 20 hours per week. Compensation is set at $50 per hour. Depending on performance and ongoing project needs, there may be an opportunity for the work to continue beyond the initial scope.

Key Work Areas

• Design benchmark tasks using educational documents and visual content.
• Measure model performance on document comprehension and instruction-following assignments.
• Create realistic educational scenarios with clear expected outputs and objective evaluation standards.
• Build tasks and rubrics that can be scored consistently and transparently.
• Review model answers for factual accuracy, reasoning quality, and adherence to instructions.
• Work with educational charts, diagrams, worksheets, reports, and similar academic content.
• Prepare deliverables that are accurate, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Convert complex educational material into practical evaluation frameworks.
• Manage work independently while meeting quality expectations and deadlines.

Engagement Details

This assignment is fully remote and suited to someone comfortable operating as an independent contractor. The schedule is flexible, but the weekly workload is expected to remain within the 15 to 20 hour range. Continued project work may be offered if the collaboration performs well and the project remains active.
