What You’ll Do
- Help with meal preparation tasks such as cutting vegetables and assembling salads.
- Deliver meals to residents while respecting dietary restrictions and correct portion sizes.
- Wash, clean, and sanitize kitchen tools, equipment, and dining spaces.
- Work in line with food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
- Offer courteous, professional interaction with residents, coworkers, and visitors.
- Take on other duties as needed.
What We’re Looking For
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience in food service or a kitchen setting is preferred, though not mandatory.
- Ability to understand instructions and contribute effectively in a team environment.
- A positive attitude and clear communication with residents, administration, and company leadership to complete daily work.
- Willingness to comply with COVID-19 vaccination requirements.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Capacity to stand, sit, bend, and walk for long periods.
- Comfort performing repetitive tasks over extended periods.
- Ability to work around food and cleaning supplies.
- Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification is required where state or county law applies.
- Residency within the service area is required.
