Role Overview

MATTA is hiring a midweight Designer to join its Creative Team and contribute to both brand identity and campaign work. This position suits someone with strong creative instincts, solid technical ability, and the confidence to collaborate across teams and present ideas to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Turn creative briefs into finished design work across brand, digital, print, and campaign projects.
• Develop ideas from concept through to final delivery, ensuring the creative is refined and production-ready.
• Support the design function by helping improve and establish efficient working processes.
• Share work and concepts with internal teams and, when required, present directly to clients.
• Support the growth of junior designers through guidance and mentorship.
• Work with freelancers, illustrators, and printers to coordinate external support and outputs.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a design role within a studio, creative agency, or similar environment.
• Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Ability to apply brand guidelines, retouch assets, and produce polished creative materials.
• A portfolio showing a broad range of work, including social, web, and print examples.
• Clear understanding of design fundamentals, including typography, composition, and layout.
• Experience collaborating with creative teams and art directors to turn ideas into finished designs.
• Confidence in pitching and presenting concepts to both colleagues and clients.
• Strong self-management skills with the ability to balance deadlines, budgets, and changing priorities.
• A collaborative approach, with an interest in supporting others and sharing knowledge.
• Genuine enthusiasm for working in sports marketing.
