About the role

Team Global Express is looking for a Delivery Partner Manager for the North West region. In this leadership position, you will own the governance and compliance framework that supports a nationwide subcontractor network of more than 3,000 partners. The focus of the role is to make sure onboarding, compliance, and contract administration are handled accurately, lawfully, and in line with commercial expectations.

You will work across Procurement, Legal, Risk, Safety, and Operations to strengthen compliance maturity, improve ways of working, and keep the delivery partner ecosystem operating safely, efficiently, and in line with regulatory obligations.

Key responsibilities

  • Direct the delivery partner governance and compliance model so it aligns with internal policy, procurement standards, and legal requirements.
  • Manage subcontractor onboarding from start to finish, ensuring documentation, checks, and contract execution are completed correctly and on schedule.
  • Keep partner records, contracts, and supporting files fully current, traceable, and audit-ready across systems such as ComplianceHub.
  • Track compliance across the subcontractor network, spot risks early, and apply a strict stance on non-compliance.
  • Serve as the escalation contact for complex compliance matters and help drive resolution with the right stakeholders.
  • Handle subcontractor contract lifecycle tasks, including reviews, execution, secure storage, renewals, and expiry monitoring.
  • Work with Procurement, Legal, and Operations on contract negotiations and changes.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Compliance Specialists while building accountability and performance.
  • Find ways to simplify onboarding and compliance processes to lift efficiency and partner experience.
  • Support audits, maintain governance documentation, and oversee risk registers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve subcontractor governance and contribute to operational and commercial goals.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility, WHS, and applicable legislation.

What you need

  • Solid experience leading governance or compliance functions, ideally in transport, logistics, supply chain, or another highly regulated environment.
  • Strong background in contract administration, subcontractor onboarding, and compliance operations.
  • Ability to interpret laws, policies, and commercial terms and turn them into practical controls and processes.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience building and guiding high-performing teams.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, including influencing across different business areas.
  • Experience using compliance or contract systems such as ComplianceHub, SAP, Coupa, DocuSign, or similar platforms.
  • Working knowledge of supplier or subcontractor compliance requirements, including CoR, WHS, and Modern Slavery obligations.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with process improvement experience such as Lean or Six Sigma being an advantage.
  • A commercially aware and collaborative approach, with the ability to connect compliance outcomes to business performance.
