Avrioc Technologies is looking for a Data Scientist to join a collaborative group made up of engineers, data scientists, and product owners. In this role, you will help shape, build, fine-tune, and assess the algorithms that power the company’s product and influence how it operates at scale for millions of users.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, or another closely related quantitative discipline.
• At least 4 years of professional experience in advanced data science work such as predictive modeling, statistical analysis, machine learning, text mining, geospatial analytics, time series forecasting, and optimization.
• Practical experience using one or more advanced data science languages, including R, Python, Scala, or SAS.
• Strong hands-on exposure to deep learning use cases such as image classification, object detection, style transfer, and similar applications.
• Experience working with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Keras.
• Hands-on experience with CUDA backend work.
• Working knowledge of Linux terminal usage and shell scripting.
• Familiarity with the ELK stack and message broker queues.
• Ability to move machine learning models from research environments such as Jupyter Notebooks into production using procedural or pipeline-based approaches.
• Comfort using cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong planning skills with the ability to estimate project timelines accurately.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently with limited supervision.
• Willingness to stay updated on current technologies and industry standards.
• Self-driven mindset with strong interpersonal skills.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Background working with media data, including platform and customer data from the media agency, technology, or brand side.
• Good understanding of Agile and Scrum practices.
