Data Insights Analyst (Entry / Junior)

Role overview

We are seeking a junior-level Data Insights Analyst who is comfortable working with data, spotting patterns, and turning numbers into practical business recommendations. The position suits someone who is detail-focused, analytical, and eager to contribute to decision-making through clear reporting and insights.

Key responsibilities

• Gather information from different sources, prepare it for analysis, and ensure it supports business goals.
• Create reports, dashboards, and visual displays that make findings easy to understand.
• Review data to uncover trends, patterns, and areas of opportunity.
• Track KPIs and other business performance measures on an ongoing basis.
• Check data for accuracy, consistency, and completeness through validation and quality control.
• Work with stakeholders to clarify reporting needs and analytical priorities.
• Share findings and practical recommendations that help guide operational and strategic choices.
• Contribute to process improvements using data-led analysis.
• Assist in streamlining and automating recurring reporting tasks and data workflows.

Requirements

• Foundational knowledge of data analysis, statistics, and reporting methods.
• Strong command of Microsoft Excel; familiarity with SQL is preferred.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools is a strong advantage.
• Exposure to Python, R, or comparable analytical tools is beneficial.
• Good analytical reasoning and strong attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving ability along with clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Capability to work accurately and efficiently with large datasets.
• A degree, diploma, or relevant training in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, Economics, Information Technology, or a related discipline is preferred.
