About Dominate Next
Dominate Next is a performance marketing agency focused on helping ambitious ecommerce brands scale to their next stage of growth. The agency specialises in Meta advertising and performance-driven creative that aims to lower acquisition costs, improve returns, and build paid social into a scalable growth channel. Decisions are rooted in data, testing, and commercial impact rather than vanity metrics.
The company works best with six- and seven-figure DTC brands, supporting growth from six figures to multi-six, then to seven figures and beyond. Campaigns run across the UK, US, Australia, and parts of Europe including Germany, France, and Spain. The team is selective about clients, preferring fewer partnerships, deeper collaboration, and work that produces meaningful outcomes.
The Role
This is a full-time creative strategy position with a 37.5-hour work week. The role sits at the centre of research, strategy, and briefing for performance-focused Meta ads across a portfolio of DTC ecommerce accounts. It is a thinking-heavy role where you will study customer language, evaluate what is working in the market, form clear testing hypotheses, and turn those insights into briefs that editors and UGC creators can execute without repeated clarification.
You will work with paid social managers, in-house editors, graphic designers, UGC creators, founders, and client stakeholders. The goal is to improve account performance through stronger creative thinking, better brief quality, and faster iteration on winning ideas.
Core Responsibilities
- Research customer reviews, social comments, and survey feedback to uncover the words and ideas buyers naturally use.
- Analyse competitor and category creative using tools such as Foreplay and Meta Ad Library.
- Spot promising hooks, angles, formats, and structures, then turn them into testable ideas for client accounts.
- Build and keep organised swipe files for each client.
- Develop a solid understanding of each brand’s customer, product, category, and positioning.
- Create creative testing plans based on performance data rather than opinion.
- Write precise briefs for static and video ads so production teams can work with minimal back-and-forth.
- Find, brief, and manage freelance UGC creators from start to finish.
- Keep a steady pipeline of concepts ready so accounts are never short of new angles when performance starts to fatigue.
- Approach every brief as a testable hypothesis with a clear success measure.
- Work with paid social managers to convert performance signals into creative direction.
- Brief in-house editors and designers clearly so work is executed quickly and correctly the first time.
- Review creative before delivery to ensure it matches the brief.
- Maintain a feedback loop between tests and learnings so insights build over time across accounts.
- Join client calls with paid social managers and founders.
- Provide weekly performance updates and action points.
- Present insights confidently during monthly strategy calls.
- Explain how actions taken relate to results achieved.
- Raise risks early and proactively.
- Assess ad-level performance to identify winners, underperformers, and fatigue patterns early.
- Dig into why particular creative is working or failing, rather than relying only on surface-level metrics.
- Iterate on successful concepts through structured variations instead of restarting from scratch.
- Maintain a clear view on what should be tested next and why.
- Keep naming, tagging, and board structure tidy across accounts in Foreplay or similar tools.
- Record concepts, briefs, hypotheses, and outcomes so learnings are retained and reused.
- Keep the creative pipeline visible to internal teams and clients.
- Advise clients on creative direction and relevant site conversion factors where they affect ad performance.
What Success Looks Like
Expectations are structured around 30, 60, and 90 days.
- By day 30: You are fully onboarded, understand each account’s customer, product, baseline performance, and existing creative library, and have your first researched concepts in production.
- By day 60: You are managing accounts with limited oversight, sharing weekly insights that paid social managers and clients can act on, and owning the testing roadmap for each account end to end.
- By day 90: Performance is improving through structured creative iteration, clients rely on you to lead creative discussion on monthly calls, and internal teams plus freelance creators are able to deliver first-time-right work from your briefs.
Who Will Thrive
This role suits someone who leads with research, thinks in concepts rather than individual assets, writes briefs that are immediately usable, understands buyer psychology, and approaches creative as a commercial lever. Strong communication, commercial awareness, and a bias toward purposeful testing are essential. The right person will welcome high standards and want to improve quickly.
What We’re Looking For
- At least 2 years of hands-on creative strategy experience for DTC ecommerce brands, ideally within an agency.
- A portfolio showing paid social creative concepts and briefs across both video and static formats.
- Confidence using creative intelligence platforms such as Foreplay or Motion.
- Proven ability to source, brief, and manage freelance UGC creators.
- Working knowledge of Figma, Canva, and CapCut for reference building.
- Ability to read Meta Ads Manager data at ad and ad set level and extract creative insights without relying on a media buyer.
- Understanding of buyer psychology and the drivers behind conversion.
- Clear written and verbal communication, including comfort presenting ideas and rationale to clients.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary of £31,000 to £36,000, depending on experience.
- Additional performance bonus linked to company objectives.
- 28 days of annual leave, including bank holidays, with flexible use, plus your birthday off.
- Company pension scheme.
- Employee discounts through Bright Exchange.
- Regular progression and performance reviews.
- Annual salary reviews.
- Fully remote working.
- Structured onboarding with clear 30, 60, and 90-day milestones.
- Direct access to founders and genuine account ownership from day one.
Why Dominate Next
The company is a small, ambitious team where there are no layers of seniority to hide behind. You will have direct access to founders, real ownership over accounts, and a meaningful role in shaping the function. Unlike larger agencies where strategic work can be diluted, this environment gives you visible responsibility, direct client contact, and the chance to set the standard for future hires.
The business works with established DTC brands that already have proven products and real demand. The focus is on unlocking the next stage of growth for brands that deserve it.
How to Apply
