Role overview

This is an interview-based opening with FedEx Canada in Langley, British Columbia. The role focuses on making scheduled pickups and deliveries along an assigned route, verifying that each shipment meets Federal Express Canada service standards, and supporting customers with related service needs.

What you will do

• Complete courteous and efficient pickup and delivery of packages on your assigned route.
• Review all shipments to confirm they meet Federal Express Canada service requirements.
• Handle customer service tasks connected to the route and deliveries.
• Carry out other duties as needed to support the job.
• Work varying shifts based on business needs, including holidays and different schedules.

Skills, knowledge and experience needed

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Valid driver’s license with a strong driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and move packages weighing up to 150 lbs using proper equipment.
• At least 1 year of customer-focused business experience preferred.
• Must pass the mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training with the required minimum score.
• Working knowledge of FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs rules is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good organization and time management ability.
• Excellent customer service orientation.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks, stay composed under pressure, and perform well in a high-pressure environment.
• Comfort with PC Windows environments and completion of recurring training and annual accreditations where applicable.
• If based in Quebec, bilingual ability in French and English is required.
• For driving-based roles, candidates must have a valid license such as Class 5, G, or 1/AZ and a driving record with no more than two violations and/or accidents in the 24 months before applying.
