About the company
Relectrify is developing a new approach to battery energy storage, with the aim of lowering storage costs by extracting more usable energy from each cell. The company is focused on helping accelerate the transition to clean energy and sees its work as a meaningful contribution to that future.
The team is guided by a set of working principles that emphasise clear priorities, thoughtful decision-making, decisive action, high-quality execution, strong collaboration, and a focus on getting the job done.
Relectrify values a diverse mix of backgrounds and experiences, and aims to create an environment where people can do their best work.
Role overview
Following the certification of its AC1 product, Relectrify is growing its commercial work across Australia and is looking for a Commercial Support Manager. This role is responsible for keeping customer projects moving smoothly from first contact through delivery and commissioning, while ensuring customers have a seamless experience throughout.
You will act as the main coordination point between external partners and internal teams. The role involves managing communication, aligning stakeholders, tracking milestones, making sure commitments are met, resolving issues early, and maintaining momentum across multiple projects at once.
Because the work touches commercial, engineering, legal, operations, and delivery teams, the position requires someone who can balance competing priorities, adapt quickly when plans change, and keep everyone informed. The role offers significant ownership, visibility, and room to grow as the business scales.
Key responsibilities
Reporting to the VP Partnerships, you will collaborate closely with business development and commercial colleagues, while also working across engineering, legal, operations, and delivery. You will serve as a reliable point of contact for both internal stakeholders and customers.
- Lead customer engagements from start to finish, including early-stage coordination through to completion.
- Arrange NDAs and help establish a smooth kickoff for each engagement.
- Prepare and coordinate proposals and pricing inputs before release.
- Oversee customer information sharing, including portal access and controlled document distribution.
- Handle due diligence requests and bespoke information requirements by coordinating responses from the right teams.
- Manage contract review workflows, including redlines and execution through signature.
- Coordinate logistics, planning, and communications for product deliveries.
- Track and support commissioning activities to ensure they are executed successfully.
- Potentially contribute to post-commissioning customer success work.
Requirements
Applicants need full working rights in Australia and must be willing to complete pre-employment checks covering working rights, criminal history, and references.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in commercial operations, sales operations, commercial project management, contract management, or a similar field; closer to 10 years is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to independently represent the company to mid- and senior-level customer contacts across several projects.
- A detail-focused, process-oriented approach with proven ability to keep complex, multi-party workstreams on schedule.
- Comfort working across internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with contracting processes, including legal review and redline management.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to improving the customer experience.
- Desirable: knowledge or experience in electrical systems and power electronics.
- Desirable: knowledge or experience in battery energy storage systems or related energy infrastructure.
