Cleaner - Rest Area

Job Overview

Velociti Services is hiring a Cleaner to work onsite at client locations in a commercial cleaning capacity. The role centers on routine custodial and janitorial work, including mopping, dusting, vacuuming, wiping surfaces, and removing waste.

Primary Duties

• Vacuum carpets and other floor surfaces.
• Edge-clean along corners and base areas.
• Dust furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.
• Clean and replenish restrooms and breakrooms.
• Wash windows as needed.
• Collect trash and move it to the designated disposal location.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Take on additional tasks when assigned.

• Place safety as the highest priority.
• Develop respectful working relationships with teammates and guests.
• Take direction from the Cleaning Lead, Supervisor, or Manager.
• Coordinate with other internal departments when needed.

• Brings strong customer service skills.

Physical Demands

This role requires the ability to lift boxes and packages weighing up to 60 pounds, bend and squat, stretch to move boxes, parcels, and shipments, climb small to medium flights of stairs several times per day, and remain standing for extended periods.
