The Opportunity

An opening is available for a dependable and enthusiastic cleaner to join the team at a retail location in Mornington, Victoria. The role suits someone who works well in a busy environment, notices details, and takes pride in keeping areas clean, safe, and presentable for customers and staff.

This is a part-time onsite role with the following roster: Thursday and Friday, 16:24 to 00:00. Pay will be in line with the applicable award rate.

Key Duties

• Carry out day-to-day cleaning tasks to a consistently high standard.
• Treat and clean furnishings as required.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Clean toilets and washrooms.
• Collect and dispose of rubbish.
• Clean glass surfaces, both inside and outside.
• Dust hard surfaces throughout the site.

About You

The ideal candidate will bring cleaning experience, ideally from a commercial setting, along with a proven ability to work effectively as part of a team. You should also be able to follow directions, work independently when needed, and maintain a strong focus on detail.

Good communication and customer service skills are important, as are reliability, punctuality, and a sound understanding of workplace health and safety practices. Flexibility to work outside standard hours, including public holidays when required, is also necessary. Experience using floor-care equipment such as scrubbers, buffers, or sweepers will be considered an advantage.
