We are hiring a Cleaner for Windsor, Ontario and nearby areas. This role suits someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, works well in a lively and fast-moving environment, and can handle a variety of cleaning tasks with care and consistency.

The position involves keeping properties clean, sanitary, and presentable through both routine upkeep and more detailed cleaning work. You will also interact with property owners and help create a welcoming environment for residents and visitors.

Compensation

CAD 38,000 to 50,000 per year.

What the role includes

Work will cover a broad set of cleaning duties, from regular maintenance to more specialized tasks, with attention to detail and strong hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning to maintain a high level of hygiene and presentation across properties.
• Complete routine tasks such as dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, vent cleaning, and restroom cleaning.
• Carry out specialized work such as washing windows and cleaning carpets.
• Inspect spaces before and after cleaning, and record their condition.
• Report any maintenance issues, deficiencies, or repair needs to management.
• Replenish and maintain assigned facility areas and supplies.
• Follow all health, safety, and cleanliness requirements at all times.
• Work according to Royal York Property Management’s cleaning procedures and quality standards.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a professional cleaning position.
• A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Understanding of different cleaning techniques and equipment.
• Strong eye for detail and a consistent commitment to quality.
• Good organizational and communication abilities.
• Ability to work on your own as well as with a cleaning team.
• Comfort with safely using cleaning chemicals and related supplies.
• Own an iPhone for work-related communication.
• Willingness to adjust to different sites, tasks, and schedules.
• Physical stamina and mobility to complete cleaning duties efficiently.
