Key duties
- Support fermentation activities such as inoculations, nutrient additions, and sample collection.
- Carry out cellar operations including racking, transfers, blending, filtration, sampling, and product additions.
- Handle sanitation tasks for tanks, equipment, and the facility overall.
- Follow established operating procedures and safety requirements at all times.
- Complete work orders and ensure compliance with internal standards.
- Operate a cellar forklift and other winery equipment safely, with training provided.
- Assist with inventory tracking and lot control.

- Flexibility to work shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and potentially weekends.
- Comfort with basic math calculations.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organization and housekeeping habits.
- Capability to lift up to 55 lbs.
Compensation and employment details
The wage range for this position is $21 to $27 per hour, depending on experience. Full-time employees receive a comprehensive benefits package, a minimum of 3 weeks of paid vacation each year, product allotments, and shift premiums for afternoon and graveyard shifts.
