Role overview
For the Regionalverkehr Alb-Bodensee GmbH, a bus driver position is available in Isny im Allgäu and the surrounding area as soon as possible. The work is varied and close to home, with a strong focus on safe, comfortable passenger transport and staying calm when situations become demanding. Candidates who are new to driving or unfamiliar with the routes will receive sufficient time for onboarding.
Responsibilities
- Operate scheduled buses safely and on time in local and school transport.
- Provide passengers with information and advice about timetables, fares, and connecting services where relevant.
- Sell and check tickets.
- Inspect the vehicle’s operational readiness, including its technical systems.
- Keep the bus clean and orderly before and after service.
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as a professional driver, or a valid bus driving licence in class D or DE.
- Valid qualification under the Driver Qualification Act (BKrFQG), shown either by the “95” code in the licence or by a driver qualification card/certificate.
- Good command of German, both spoken and written.
- Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Friendly customer approach, flexibility, and reliability.
