About the Role
PetroApp is hiring an Associate Product Manager to help shape digital products that create strong customer experiences. In this position, you will partner with product managers, designers, engineers, and business teams to support the full product journey, from understanding customer problems to launching meaningful improvements.
This role is a strong fit for someone eager to develop a career in product management while learning in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
What You'll Do
- Assist product managers with defining, planning, and delivering new features and product enhancements.
- Collect and structure business and user needs through research, data review, and conversations with stakeholders.
- Contribute to product requirement documents, user stories, acceptance criteria, and other product-related materials.
- Work alongside design and engineering teams during the product build and delivery process.
- Take part in discovery work such as user interviews, competitor reviews, and market analysis.
- Support backlog prioritization based on customer value and business goals.
- Review product performance data and customer feedback to spot areas for improvement.
- Coordinate with different teams to help ensure product initiatives are delivered on time.
- Keep up with market trends, user behavior, and new technologies, including AI, to contribute to product innovation.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a similar discipline.
- 0 to 2 years of experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, Project Management, or a comparable role; internships are an advantage.
- Good analytical and problem-solving ability, with a strong appetite for learning.
- Foundational knowledge of the product lifecycle and Agile ways of working.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, plus the ability to work well with others.
- Comfort with organizing work, managing priorities, and performing in a fast-moving environment.
- Ability to use data when making or supporting product decisions.
- Exposure to AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar solutions for improving productivity, research, and documentation.
- Interest in building customer-focused digital products.
Nice to Have
- Internship or project exposure in product management or digital products.
- Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, Figma, Miro, or similar collaboration platforms.
- Basic understanding of UX/UI principles and customer journey mapping.
- Experience with mobile apps or web applications.
- Knowledge of Agile or Scrum practices.
- Background in fintech, mobility, fuel, energy, or marketplace products.
