This role sits within the Wellbeing Collective Group, a fast-growing global business focused on health and wellness. The category spans vitamins, minerals, supplements, and related areas such as functional hydration and nutrition.
The group manages a portfolio of high-growth brands, including OLLY, Liquid I.V., Nutrafol, SmartyPants, Welly, Onnit, and Equilibra. Each brand has its own identity, but all share a commitment to delivering strong consumer experiences in health and wellbeing. The team is working to expand these brands further by leveraging Unilever’s broader capabilities and international reach.
The working style is agile, fast-paced, and highly collaborative. Team members are expected to think strategically while also being hands-on, entrepreneurial, adaptable, and comfortable working across a large organization and a networked project environment.
Role Purpose
The Associate Manager, Performance Marketing will be responsible for improving the performance of the Amazon business, managing performance marketing budgets, and supporting direct-to-consumer channels. The position is centered on data-backed decisions, marketing efficiency, and revenue growth, while connecting marketing, sales, and operations to create measurable impact.
This is a priority role for the Wellbeing Collective in Canada, especially for the Liquid I.V. and OLLY brands. The business is increasing investment, resources, and focus to support ambitious growth targets, so strong knowledge of Amazon strategy, digital performance marketing, and eCommerce analytics is essential.
The role requires close partnership with internal stakeholders, specialist agencies, and external partners to support Amazon, website DTC, and affiliate marketing programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and improve Amazon sales strategy for Liquid I.V. and OLLY, with a focus on efficient spending and strong return on investment.
- Monitor spend effectiveness, performance indicators, and competitive activity on Amazon.
- Spot performance gaps, business risks, and growth opportunities to improve conversion and revenue.
- Set up and use A/B testing approaches to strengthen advertising results and support ongoing optimization.
- Review marketing metrics closely to make sure investments produce measurable outcomes.
- Prepare detailed reporting on ROI, marketing spend, and conversion results.
- Use data to guide decisions across digital marketing initiatives.
- Act as a connection point between marketing, sales, and operations to keep digital plans aligned.
- Oversee specialist agencies and vendors to ensure campaigns are delivered smoothly.
- Coordinate with internal teams to measure results, resolve issues, and scale successful practices.
- Support leadership efforts to grow website sales, increase conversion, and improve the user experience.
- Assist with initiatives aimed at increasing traffic, boosting sales, and improving customer retention on the website.
- Evaluate and manage affiliate marketing opportunities as an additional revenue source.
- Work with specialist agencies to improve SEO, paid media, and broader digital advertising performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience in digital marketing, eCommerce, or performance marketing, including 1 year of practical Amazon analytics experience and proven success with marketplace strategy, performance analysis, and eCommerce optimization.
- Demonstrated ability to make performance-based decisions using paid media and analytics to interpret ROI, improve spending efficiency, and shape campaign and investment choices.
- Working knowledge of digital advertising, eCommerce trends, and paid media best practices.
- Strong understanding of online consumer behavior and what drives growth across digital channels.
- Solid project management skills and the ability to work effectively across functions.
- Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time, both within Canada and internationally.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 or more years of experience in digital marketing, eCommerce, or performance marketing, including 2 or more years of hands-on Amazon analytics experience with strong results in marketplace strategy and optimization.
- Practical experience with DTC, performance marketing, and conversion rate optimization.
- Experience working in high-growth consumer packaged goods environments.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this role is CAD 84,000 to CAD 110,000 annually. Compensation decisions are based on a range of factors, including skills, experience, training, certifications, qualifications, education, and business needs.
This position is eligible for a bonus.
