Role Overview

As Assistant Store Supervisor, you will support day-to-day store operations for tMart in Doha and help ensure smooth execution during your shift. The role covers store workflow from staff coordination and inbound receipt to stocking, order fulfilment, and inventory control.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee store operations during the shift and manage the full workflow end to end, including staff coordination, receiving, stocking, and pick-and-pack activities.
• Support the Store Supervisor with team management tasks such as hiring support, shift scheduling, and routine or preventive maintenance coordination.
• Assist with ordering and replenishment by maintaining healthy stock levels, minimizing stock-outs and overstock, and helping raise orders based on demand planning inputs and physical stock checks.
• Help maintain strong inventory control by supporting stock procedures, carrying out stock counts and cycle counts, and ensuring inventory accuracy according to the agreed schedule.
• Ensure that inbound deliveries are received correctly and in line with company policies and SOPs.
• Monitor outbound processes to make sure customer orders are picked and packed accurately and efficiently following standard procedures.
• Support the Store Supervisor in reviewing fulfilment performance and suggesting improvements that can increase productivity and profitability.
• Help implement actions related to store shrinkage.
• Ensure hygiene, sanitation, safety, security, and service standards are followed consistently during the shift.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Raise operational issues with the Store Supervisor and contribute possible solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a supermarket or restaurant environment.
• A proactive, curious mindset and willingness to learn every day on the job.
• Strong communication skills and a practical, hands-on working style.
• Good interpersonal and cross-cultural communication abilities.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a strong advantage.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, onsite position based in the Doha Metropolitan Area.

Additional Information

The role is centered on store operations, inventory discipline, fulfilment quality, and maintaining operational standards across the shift. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced retail or grocery environment and collaborating closely with the Store Supervisor.
