About the Organization
Anudip Foundation, established in 2007, is a professionally run not-for-profit Section 8 company registered under the Indian Companies Act, 2013. Working as a partner with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, the organization is dedicated to generating large-scale digital livelihood opportunities for young people from underserved communities across India.
Through industry-linked diploma and certificate programs, Anudip operates training centers in urban, peri-urban, and remote rural locations. Its placement outcomes are supported by training content designed to meet employer expectations in areas such as retail, microfinance, information technology, digital services, and automation. The organization has trained more than 100,000 learners across 92+ centers in 20 major Indian states.
Role Overview
This is a full-time, on-site position in Coimbatore for an Assistant Manager - Placement. The role centers on employer outreach, corporate relationship management, student-job matching, and end-to-end placement coordination. The position also involves preparing learners for interviews, maintaining placement records, and working with training teams to ensure course outcomes stay aligned with industry hiring needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify prospective employers and actively connect with them for placement opportunities.
- Build, nurture, and manage long-term relationships with corporate and industry partners.
- Match student profiles and skills with appropriate job openings.
- Plan and execute placement drives, including interview scheduling and coordination.
- Track student placement readiness and provide support before interviews.
- Guide learners through resume preparation, interview practice, and other pre-placement activities.
- Maintain accurate placement-related data and compile periodic reports.
- Work closely with training teams to align curriculum outcomes with market requirements.
- Interact with learners to understand their career goals and help them move toward stable employment.
- Travel locally for employer engagement and outreach when required.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Strong understanding of Human Resources and HR management concepts, including hiring needs and organizational structures.
- Background in employee relations and performance management, supporting both employer expectations and learner outcomes.
- Working knowledge of HR policies and basic compliance practices related to hiring and placements.
- Prior exposure to campus placements, talent acquisition, or corporate relations, preferably in the skilling, education, or training sector.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to network effectively, negotiate confidently, and build strong professional relationships.
- Comfort with MS Office, basic reporting tools, and digital platforms used for placement operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Management, or a related discipline; a postgraduate qualification in HR or Management is an added advantage.
- Willingness to work from Coimbatore and handle multiple placement initiatives at the same time.
