Role Overview
This position is for a Territory Sales In-Charge within the Sales function at Britannia Industries Limited. The role is based in Kushinagar, Uttar Pradesh, and is focused on driving territory-level sales execution, distributor coordination, retail expansion, merchandising, and field support.
Key Stakeholders
- Internal teams: Sales Admin, Depot, and Quality.
- External partners: AW, AWSM, retailers, and wholesalers.
Educational Qualification
A graduate degree is required.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver the assigned secondary sales targets for the territory.
- Set targets for AW and break them down beat-wise for AWSM.
- Share objectives clearly with AW and review progress on a regular basis.
- Monitor target achievement periodically and take corrective action where needed.
- Manage AW relationships and provide the support needed to meet business goals.
- Ensure the required infrastructure and systems are available and functioning.
- Serve as the commercial link between AW and BIL.
- Coach, manage, and assess AWSM performance.
- Train AWSM on Britannia best practices and WOW standards.
- Train AWSM on the sales call process.
- Review AWSM performance at regular intervals.
- Provide practical field support and guidance for territory-specific challenges.
- Maintain strong market service levels and grow business across existing and new outlets.
- Ensure good servicing standards at dealer locations.
- Build and maintain relationships with current dealers.
- Increase both the depth and reach of sales within each dealer.
- Identify and develop new outlet opportunities.
- Carry out activations as directed by the ASM.
- Execute visibility plans and merchandising initiatives.
- Follow plan-o-gram requirements closely.
- Implement primary and secondary merchandising activities.
- Ensure visibility programs are executed properly in the market.
- Roll out new consumer promotions, trade schemes, and product launches.
- Support new product rollout through communication and sampling.
- Explain schemes effectively to AWSM to improve sell-in at dealer points.
- Track and review the results of new products and schemes.
- Gather and share market intelligence on competitor promotions, service days, off-take, pricing, new launches, visibility, and related developments.
- Keep accurate records and maintain required systems.
- Update and manage PJP data.
- Prepare and submit MIS reports.
- Support the Hub of UDAAN initiative.
- Act as Britannia’s point of contact for consumer complaints.
- Visit consumers to resolve quality-related complaints.
- Share complaint status updates with the Quality team.
