Accounting Clerk

Builders Capital Exchange is hiring an Accounting Clerk to support its expanding accounting function. In this role, you will help keep financial records accurate, current, and well-organized while handling sensitive data with care and discretion.

What You'll Do

• Enter and update financial information so records remain complete and accurate.
• Match and review bank statements, credit card statements, and general ledger balances.
• Spot inconsistencies in accounts and help correct them.
• Maintain journal entries and general ledger activity.
• Support monthly and annual closing activities.
• Assist with special assignments and financial analysis when needed.

Requirements

• An associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related subject is an advantage.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar accounting position, especially one with strong Accounts Payable exposure.
• Good numerical thinking, analytical ability, and understanding of cash flow concepts.
• Comfort using Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience with NetSuite is preferred, though not mandatory.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills, along with critical thinking and interpersonal abilities.
• High accuracy, close attention to detail, and the ability to manage several priorities at once.
