About the internship
This internship sits within consulting work that supports real estate strategy, portfolio optimisation, and the setup and expansion of India GCC (Global Capability Centre) operations. The role blends market intelligence, financial analysis, and problem-solving in a client-facing environment, working across occupiers, developers, and internal cross-functional teams.
What you will do
- Carry out in-depth research on office, commercial, and residential micro-markets, including supply pipeline, rentals, vacancy levels, land pricing, and the regulatory landscape.
- Study India GCC trends such as preferred cities, talent availability, cost structures, incentives, and the real estate preferences of multinational firms.
- Develop and maintain financial models for development feasibility, NER, lease-versus-buy decisions, portfolio consolidation, and GCC business cases whenever needed.
- Prepare location assessment reports covering talent, cost, risk, and infrastructure, along with site shortlists for GCC and corporate occupiers.
- Support transaction strategy work by evaluating test-fit layouts, space planning benchmarks, and comparing shortlisted buildings and sites.
- Build client-ready presentations, pitch decks, investment memoranda, and dashboards that clearly present findings and recommendations.
- Maintain internal trackers and databases covering market transactions, rentals, incentives, and GCC announcements to support live projects and business development efforts.
- Take ownership of workstreams on larger mandates and coordinate execution with cross-functional teams.
