Role overview

In this position, you will own a wide range of workplace IT responsibilities that help employees stay productive from their first day onward. Your work will cover onboarding, hardware management, access administration, internal support, and workplace operations in a highly regulated environment.

You will also help shape and mature the Workplace IT function by improving processes, documentation, and service quality as the company grows.

What you will do

  • Coordinate employee joining and exit processes with People and hiring managers by preparing devices, accounts, and access permissions on schedule, ensuring smooth starts and secure departures.
  • Handle the complete device lifecycle with employees, vendors, and internal teams, including procurement, enrollment, repairs, returns, and inventory control, so the hardware estate remains dependable, compliant, and ready for audits.
  • Run and enhance workplace tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, Atlassian products, and device management systems in partnership with Engineering and business teams, so staff have secure and consistent access to essential systems.
  • Provide day-to-day IT help to employees, investigate workplace issues, and work with the right teams to get practical fixes in place quickly.
  • Strengthen workplace IT operations with People, Compliance, and Technology Foundations by writing documentation, improving service desk processes, and reducing manual work where possible.
  • Work with Compliance, ICT Risk, and Technology Foundations on access controls, device compliance, and workplace security requirements so the company stays aligned with regulatory expectations.

What you should bring

  • Initial hands-on experience in Workplace IT, Internal IT, IT Operations, or a similar support-focused role, along with interest in growing further in this area.
  • Practical experience using Apple/macOS device management platforms such as Jamf, Kandji, or JumpCloud, including working with managed endpoints, policies, and routine device operations.
  • Experience with employee onboarding and offboarding, device provisioning, and everyday IT support, with a focus on delivering a smooth employee experience.
  • Experience administering tools like Google Workspace, Slack, and Atlassian, plus the ability to communicate clearly with employees and stakeholders.
  • Understanding of access management, device compliance, and structured operations in a regulated setting, paired with a careful and dependable working style.
  • Interest in improving recurring workflows and a practical mindset for automating or simplifying manual tasks in ways that are useful, secure, and scalable.
  • A collaborative, service-oriented attitude and a genuine interest in helping teams work effectively.
  • Comfort working in a startup or similarly lean organization where priorities can change quickly and focus matters.
