Role Overview
This is a full-time, on-site Wheel Aligner position based in Warilla, New South Wales. The role focuses on delivering precise wheel alignment services across a variety of vehicles, using alignment equipment and working to manufacturer requirements as well as company standards. You will assess tyres, wheels, and suspension parts, identify alignment-related issues, and suggest the most appropriate repairs or services to help maintain vehicle safety and performance.
Key Duties
The position involves close coordination with the workshop team, maintaining an orderly and safe workspace, and consistently following workplace safety procedures. You will also communicate with customers and colleagues in a professional way to support a smooth and positive service experience.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates should bring hands-on experience with wheel alignment, tyre fitting, and basic suspension inspections, with a strong emphasis on precision and safe working practices. A sound understanding of steering systems, suspension components, alignment settings, and workshop alignment machinery is important. A trade qualification in automotive work, such as Certificate III in Automotive, or an equivalent level of experience is preferred. A current driver’s licence is required so customer vehicles can be moved and road-tested safely when needed.
Additional Requirements
You will need strong troubleshooting ability, excellent attention to detail, and the confidence to diagnose tyre wear and alignment concerns. The role also calls for good communication, teamwork, a willingness to learn, adaptability with new tools and processes, and a commitment to workplace health and safety along with company policies.
