Compensation
The pay for each project is $400 for an estimated 10 to 12 hours of work, paid on a per-project basis.
Key Duties
As the lead planner onsite, you will help ensure weddings run smoothly from the final planning stages through the end of the event.
- Join a final details call with the couple about 6 weeks before the wedding to confirm logistics, schedule, and expectations.
- Run the ceremony rehearsal the day before the wedding, making sure everyone understands timing, procession order, and important cues.
- Act as the couple’s main onsite support, staying composed and solution-oriented while addressing any concerns that come up.
- Supervise setup for the ceremony and reception so it matches the planned design and day-of execution guide.
- Oversee the wedding from vendor arrival through final breakdown at the end of the night.
- Welcome vendors, guide them, and serve as the central point of contact on site.
- Relay setup directions to vendors clearly so everything aligns with the event plan.
- Assist with placing personal and event details such as escort cards, menus, table numbers, favors, guest books, and décor.
- Help the wedding party and family members with timing, direction, and day-of support.
- Make sure gifts, guest books, décor, and other end-of-event items are packed up and accounted for.
- Handle last-minute changes or problems quickly to keep the guest experience running smoothly.
