Virtual Clinical Educator

Role overview

Inizio Engage is working in partnership with a major biotechnology organization that supports its Commercial, Patient Solutions, and Medical Affairs teams. The company is seeking a caring healthcare professional to deliver virtual or phone-based education and emotional support to patients and caregivers as they move through diagnosis and treatment.

What the role involves

• Provide non-promotional disease-state education to identified customers through inbound or outbound interactions, as directed by the client.
• Reach out to patients and/or caregivers with medication adherence support.
• Gather demographic details and note reimbursement-service and literature-fulfillment outcomes.
• Maintain strong service quality while following program scripts or call guides, and use live video-conferencing tools and client-specific web platforms when needed.
• Use only approved materials supplied by Inizio or the client, without altering, copying, or sharing them.
• Complete all required training and competency checks within the expected timeframe and to the required standard.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with key customers.
• Support the creation and delivery of services across multiple healthcare sectors as directed by the client or Inizio.
• Bring forward new ideas and approaches that may open up future partnership opportunities.
• Handle administrative work promptly, including daily system updates, weekly activity summaries, emails, and time entries.
• Attend local or national meetings and conferences when needed to stay current on plans, activities, and developments and to share knowledge with the Patient Solutions team.
• Look after company equipment and materials according to company guidance.
• Follow all Inizio and client policies and procedures.
• Take on additional duties as assigned.

Work schedule and conditions

Hours may extend into evenings and weekends. The role is based in Chicago, IL and is listed as onsite.

Compensation and benefits

The base hourly pay range is $25.90 to $48.10. Final pay will depend on experience, skills, internal equity, and business needs.
